1. Cross training races - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
Originally by: drivinggod Personally I don't mind cross training armour and shield - I already have good shield skills, but I firmly believe that having the option to tank either armour or shield is actually an investment of skill points. ...

2. Skills for upcoming patch - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
EVE needs more CHA based skills. Maybe they'll add some to help with subduing the peasants on your planet to help with disgruntled population, rioting, etc.

3. What PvP T2/3 Cruisers to train for? - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
Originally by: SirFur I want to feel confident in a set of ships for any race which will perform well in PvP OVERALL in all forms of the T2 cruiser ships - including logistics, force recon, heavy attack, HICs and eventually T3. Tha...

4. Cross training races - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
Originally by: TimMc I'm over simplifying, but no not trolling. I fly Amarr, Gallente and Minmatar ships. Gallente haven't been used since I got access to the other two. Sure Gallente have good ships - Dominix, Taranis and Ishkur. Howeve...

5. Amarr or Minmatar? - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
I second what that ^ guy said. Amarr would be fastest for you. Maybe 4-5 months to fly a Geddon as well as you do a Mega. But why do you need to train another race?

6. Getting started efficiently for a new player? - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
That kind of split is only useful for cap ship alts, who do little besides sit and train for 2 1/2 years. Do what the corp services guy says in order to get the best start. 15/9 or 12/12 are both recommended. The 'efficiency' OCD thing bothers ...

7. Where to go now... Command / Logi ships or Recons and Cross Training? - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
I say do BC 5 asap, but I only say that because BCs are my bread and butter. I love BCs so much it's almost illegal. Then train for recons. The Curse is easily flyable with recon 4 and no missle skills, you're not so far off from that. Forget abo...

10. Character Direction Advice: 38M SP in... - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
If BattleClinic is an accurate indication, you've not yet had much PvP experience. If I were you, I'd focus on training up support skills to help me fight in cheap and insurable T1 frigs, cruisers, and BCs. For you, this mainly means DPS increasin...

13. Smartbombs on a missioning battleship - in Skill Discussions [original thread]
tbh I've always wanted to get enough covops alts together to send some silly mish runner to below -5. I tried once with 3 covops... but it was too hard to coordinate the approach, and one got decloaked.
